Hi,
I am trying to install the CCS v5.2 software on my computer. However, as soon as I run the setup program, it crashes. Windows reports a stack overflow and memory access violation. I have tried version 5.2, 5.1, and the last version of CCS v4. All of them produce the exact same result.
Is there anything I can try?
Thanks!
Hi Shane,
here are some things to check/next steps
- did you turn off antivirus?
- do you have full admin privileges?
- did you try redownloading in case of corruption?
- are you using the full/lite installer?
- would you send us the contents of your installjammer registry directory (under program files or program files(x86))
- did you unzip the installer first?
- are you using only directories with no special/accented characters or spaces?
Please keep us informed.
Best Regards,
Lisa
I have the same problems...i redownloaded but crashes again. I'm using windows 7/64x too. Using Windows Vista in another computer I didn't have problems to install.
I didn't have any problems with multiple installations (CCS 5.1 & 5.2) on Windows 7 64-bit. I suspect something is wrong with your Windows system, but it isn't feasible to troubleshoot it via this medium.
Hi Shane et al,
just wanted to check for any updates and whether the tips for checking were helpful.
Best Regards,
Lisa
