In CCS v4, the real time graph auto scale works, which means the graph displays in full range automatically, but in CCS v5.2, it does not. Screenshot attached. Is there any workaround? Thanks.
Hi Louis,
Thanks for the feedback. There is a CQ for this (SDSCM00041202). The behavior was changed to the current as we got feedback earlier that the Y-axis range keeps changing for every display of the acquisition buffer, as the auto scale was taking Min and Max of the data being shown in the display. (display buffer size)
The behavior was changed to have auto scale use Min and Max based on all the data the graph has seen from the time the graph was last reset (or created)
Regards
Ralph
Is there a away of setting the Yaxis min & max to specific values instead of using autoscale?
Roger
Ok, that change was for Auto Scale mode checked. When Auto Scale is unchecked, does it allow user to set Max and Min manaully?
Hi,
thanks for knowing, but this autoscale change for every acquisition buffer is the functionality I require. Now I am debugging a device and sometimes in the signal a peak occurs, and this peak is out of range of the graph. I am not able to see it, nor reset the autoscale, nor set the axes manually. I have to manually export the data to csv, import it to Matlab and then see the graph. Good old CCS 3.3 :(
Now I am using CCS 5.4, no new updates are available to me.
Thanks for solving this huge pain in the ... .
