Hi !

Apparently, the C6000 Code Generation Tools 7.3.4 doesn't accept UTF-8 character encoding.

Is this correct ?

This will be the same in the future releases ?

TI compilers only support ASCII. There are no plans to support other character encodings.

Note that UTF-8 is upward compatible with ASCII: it doesn't contain embedded 0-valued bytes, so the standard str*() functions work with UTF-8 encoded strings. It may be that you don't have any problem just plowing ahead..
