Attempting to program using a Blackhawk USB2000 and am receiving the following error:

C28xx: Flash Programmer: Warning: The configured device (TMS320F28335), does not match the detected device (). Flash Programming operations could be affected. Please consider modifying your target configuration file.
C28xx: Flash Programmer: Error erasing Flash memory.
C28xx: Flash operation timed out waiting for the algorithm to complete. Operation cancelled.
C28xx: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0x324a8f on Page 0 of Length 0x484
Cannot write to target

Has anyone seen this warning/error combination before?

When I wasn't able to program using CCS I tried c2prog to SCI flash the device but still received errors. Posted this in the C2000 forum without any luck so I thought I would try here. Follow link for previous post.

Hi Jacob,

Just to confirm, you are indeed using a 28335, correct? The flash programmer reads the device for the ID and it seems to be getting a different value than what it is expecting for the device. What CCS version are you using? I think there was a known issue with older CCS versions that sounds similar. If you are not using one of the later versions, could you try updating?

I have not. However I have found a work around. Reference the link below. But I have not been able to resolve the initial issue.
