Problem with code coverage in Code Composer v5.2.1.00018

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with code coverage in my Code Composer. I have found a web page:

where TI describes how to enable code coverage in Code Composers v4/v5.
But... I can't find described options in my GUI. I can't find describded options where I should choose type of augmented symbol table (dwarf etc.),
I don't even have menu Tools where I should choose option to collect coverage data. (Menu Tools->Profile->Setup Profile Data Collection)
I searched for it in help - I haven't found any record in help and Google abot this issue.

There are two things to be aware of:

The screenshot is of your CCS Edit perspective. Note that you must be in a debug session for have access to the profiler / code coverage tools. I doesn't appear that you are in a debug perspective

2) What target are you using? Note that code coverage is only supported on C6x simulators.

OK. I solved it in Code Composer. I generated statistics.

Now I have a problem with code coverage under Debug Server Scripting (DSS).

Is it possible to generate code coverage under DSS (without Code Composer )? Could You tell me what should I do do do it without Code Composer?

I've found article how to do it using Code Composer. Can You tell me how can i do it using DSS? It is my main problem.

Hello Radoslaw,

See the below wiki article that details how to control the profiler with DSS. Note that the list of supported activities can vary depending on the target and version of CCS.
