CCS 5.2 ROV,RTA tool option missing

Hi

I am using CCS 5.2.0.00033 with MCSDK 2.0.7.18. I was able to see and use all the RTA,System Analyzer and ROV tools. from Tools menu.

Due to some requirement I had to install MCSDK 2.0.3.15 and use for a project. Now I dont see ROV/RTA tools in the Tools menu.

Please check and let me know if I can install them seperately or how to solve this issue.

    Another update

    1) Uninstalled everything

    2)Installed CCS 5.2.0.33  --> I can see all RTA,ROV tools under Tools menu

    3)Installed MCSDK 2.0.3.15 --> All the RTA,ROV option valishes keping some XDAIS tools and RTSC tools only.

    Please look into this.

    Hi Soumya,

    is there a particular reason you want the older version?  What do you see in Window->Preferences->Code Composer Studio->RTSC->Products?

    Did you get any error messages?  Did you have antivirus turned off?

    Soumya,

    Early versions of MCSDK automatically installed Multicore System Analyzer 1.0 (MCSA 1.0) as a patch for CCS5.0. Since CCS 5.1 and newer already includes System Analyzer, this patch is not needed and should be unselected when installing MCSDK. If this patch is selected then items in the tools menu may disappear/not function properly. I am not certain if the version of MCSDK you're installing has MCSA 1.0 enabled by default but the symptom you're experiencing make me think so.

    My suggestion is to uninstall/reinstall CCS (no need to reinstall MCSDK ... CCS will automatically detect the existing install) and that to correct the problem.

    Hi,

    I am also facing the same issue, I reinstalled the CCS. But still RTA manu is missing.

     

    I am using CCS Version: 5.2.0.00069 and BIOS MCSDK 2.0.5 . How can I enable this RTA menu ?.  I want to use Log_print , is there any way ti check the logs  with out RTA ?

    Can you forward your error log file? This can be found in your workspace folder <workspace>/.metadata/.log.

    Hi Imtaz,

    I created a new workspace and now the RTA menu is working. I dont know the RTA menu will be disable, if I import the actual project from my previous work space. Later I will import my actual project and check the RTA menu status.
