Adode Flash Player no recognized by CCS5.2

I have CCS5.2 installed on a Windows 7 64bit laptop. The program keeps requesting that I install Adobe Flash Player.  Under programs Adobe Flash is installed and my browsers seem OK with the installation. Play all of this sites videos in my browsers fine. I've run the MSP430G2 Launchpads on board temp demo and it works fine. Did the dual blink reprogramming demo. So the program see the launchpad. Would love any help I can get.

  • Hi Christopher,

at what point do you see the message about Adobe?  I have both installed on Win 7 64 bit myself and have not seen this.  Do you have the latest version?  Could you send a screenshot?

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • Hi Christopher,

I was just wondering if there is any update/further information with your enquiry.

  • Flash Player still not working in CSS5. I'm using 64bit Windows Home Pro. I've come to the conclusion that it all has to do with the loss of admin privileges in win 7. Yes I know about the right click run as admin option. I'm talking about the real administrator of this computer, Microsoft lol. Sorry lets start again. I have flash installed but IE won't show flash video. So I guess the CSS5 has the same problem as IE.  I use Chrome to view the youtube launchpad videos because I understand Flash Player is built into Chrome. I'm wondering if I should attack the problem by finding a solution to the Flash Player not working in IE. It is very frustrating. Ant Ideas would be depreciated. Chris :-)

  • Hi Christopher,

yes, I suspect the two are related.  Ie flash player IE problems and the CCS flash player problem.   So I would definitely say make sure flash player works in IE first.   I am unfortunately not a flsh player expert so can only suggest checking the usual things

    - updates

    - conflicts with other programs/plug-ins/antivirus

    - permissions

    Please keep us informed.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa
