I've suspected my V5.2 installation was not quite right. I decided to uninstall and reinstall it. I can't uninstall. Early in the process I get this and the deinstall hangs: (If I rename the ccs_config.xml.bk in that directory to ccs_config.xml in that directory, it tries to do an installation I seem stuck)

Hi Richard,
have you tried simply manually deleting all the folders and starting fresh in a new folder? How did you attempt to install 5.2? Did you use the full installer unzipped first? (recommended)
Best Regards,
Lisa
I don't remember how i did the installation. Can I get away with just deleting my 5.2 folder and reinstalling from scratch without leaving all kinds of abandoned folders and registery entries? If si thats fine as I'm not using v5 for production work yet. I'm open to anything that will let me start fresh.
Rick
Hi Richard,
yes, that is how do things ourselves a lot of the time as we tend to have a number of installations.
Please give that a try and keep us informed.
When starting fresh I recommned double checking
- use only folders with no accented or special characters or spaces
- unzip the installer first
- turn off antivirus
Best Regards,
Lisa

Thanks. I've learned that simply deleting an app's folder in windows can be worse than the origional problem. Its handy to know that you can do that with CCS
Rick
Hi,
I am experiencing the same issue when trying to uninstall CCSv5.
May be the problem comes from the incorrect path:
"C:\ti/ccsv5/eclipse/ccs_config.xml" --> looks so strange with the first slash character.
Should be "C:/ti/ccsv5/eclipse/ccs_config.xml", right?
Regards,
Kien
