Interfacing TMS320C6711 DSK with CCS v4

Hi! I have got the TMS320C6711 DSK board. I want to interface this wih CCStudio V4. I would like to know where do I find the drivers for this board. And I would like to know how do I interface this board with CCSv4, as there is no inbuilt support for it in CCSv4. Any guidance would be of great help. Thanks In Advance

    Hi Gajendra,

    that I am aware this device is supported in the lateste CCSv4 production release.  In fact I just created in v4 a project for a generic C67xx device.  Have you tried that?  What CCS version are you using?

    I am using CCS v4.1, and I have the board DSK  C6711, with parallel port emulator. And when I am trying to connect DSK C6711 using CCSv3.1, I am getting the following error message: - 

                  Your Code Composer does not support the connected target.

                   Device driver name: "C:\CCStudio_V3.1\drivers\sdgo6x.dvr"

    And the system configuration that was set is:-

                   DSK6711 via XDS510 PP Emulator

    Hi Gejendra,

    is there a specific reason you are trying v3.1?  Have you tried updating your v3.1 to v3.3?  Are you trying v3 or v4?  Are you plugging the board directly in or using a different emulator in between?  What OS are you using?

      -  I wanted to interface it with CCSv4.1 but couldnt, thats why wanted to check with CCSV3.1.

      -  I have not tried upgrading it.

      -  Yes I am using V3.1 & V4.

      -  I am plugging the board directly via parallel port.   

      - I am using Windows XP professinal  S3 

               Can you please let me know where do I find the driver for this board, or any other information that would be

    helpful.

    Hi Gajendra,

    what do you mean it didn't work with v4?  What error do you get/issue do you see?  Lets see if we can't get you up and running there.

    I want to connect my DSK 6711 through parallel port. and run it using ccs v4

    Can you please tell me step by step procedure of code composer studio setting.
