Creating Dm355 project in CCS 5.1

                                Hello all!

 

 I am at the very beginning of learning the CCS, so please excuse me for silly question. I am trying to create a project for DaVinci DM355, but can not find this exact name in Variant drop-down list in Project wizard. In http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/GSG:Creating_projects_v5 I've written, that I should select the ARM or C6000 family depending on the core used. Does it mean, that I must select the "Generic ARM9" for DM355 device project?

    Hi Mikhail,

    yes you can use the generic ARM9 option.   If you are using BIOS, you will be asked during the project creation to specify a platform.  This is where you can specifically find the DM355EVM as an option if needed.
