CCS 5.2.1 Error

Hi Greg,

may I ask a few further details

- is this a fresh installation

- what OS are you using

- have you always had this message on startup

- could you please send the contents of your installjammer registry directory (under program files or program files(x86))

- have you been sure to unzip the installer first and use directories with no accented/special characters or spaces

Hi Lisa,

So the problem has changed.  Here is the problem i am having now.  I have migrated from v5.1 to v5.2.1.00018 on windows.  When i try to build my porject it builds but I get the following Message:

"This project was created using a version of compiler that is not currently installed: 6.0.2 [C2000]. Another version of the compiler will be used during build: 6.1.0. Please install the compiler of the required version, or migrate the project to one of the available compiler versions by adjusting project properties.”

Can you please help me address this message?

Hi Greg,

unless you need the specific compiler version used with the project, feel free to accept this message and migrate your project to the newer compiler version.

Hi Lisa,

It does help me know that nothing is wrong however I am unclear how to migrate to the new complier.  Do you have some instructions on that?
