CCS5.2 update download error

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CCSTUDIO

Updating CCS5 the update stops about half way through and I'm getting these details on an error occurring during downloading from ti site:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed.

session context was: (profile=epp.package.cpp,phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect,operand=,action=).

no repository found containing:

org.eclipse.update.feature.com,ti.ccsstudio.installer.win32,5.2.1.00018

no repository found containing:

binary,com.ti.ccstudio.installer.win32_root,5.2.1.00018

Any notion what to do about this?

  • Hi Larry,

What version of CCS are you running the update from?  How did you initially install?  Have you tried again since?

    Best Regards,

    Lisa

  • Hi Lisa:

Tried twice yesterday, just tried again this morning and got the same error.  CCS5.1 was last updated a couple of months ago, that update went fine. Initially installed as download from TI site on the net. Is licensed. Has been running o.k. Haven't had time to see if program is still fully functional after this broken update.

    At present:

    CCS Version: 5.1.0.09000

Note: "REQUIRED CCS update installation tool: 5.2.0.201204111758"

    Thanks!

  • Hi Larry,

could you please send the contents of your installjammer registry directory?  (found under program files or program files(x86))  It is possible if you initially installed CCS using the web installer that you may need to start with a fresh full installation.   Do you have problems with any of the other updates?  The other thing to check here is whether you have a problem with the proxy settings.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • Hi Lisa:

installjammer registry not found in program files, can you provide a more detailed path?

I'll go for a full download, probably faster. Should I uninstall CCS5 first or just do the download from TI site?

    Thanks!

    Larry

  • Hi Lisa:

    I did a CSS5.2 install after uninstalling old CSS5.

    Thanks!
