Error: 'Build Project' has encountered a problem.

I often receive the error message stated in the topic (screenshot attached) when trying to build a project. The only workaround I've found is to perform a clean build, which works successfully, but then the next incremental build will again generate the same error.

This is CCS 5.2.1.00018 on Windows 7 64-bit, building with CGTools 7.3.8 or 7.4.1.

Does anyone know what this error message means and how to diagnose it?

So far I've managed to work around the issue by completely deleting the Debug directory then rebuilding. If I ever run into this issue again, and manage to reproduce it with a small project, I will follow up. Thanks.

I have no idea; I haven't seen this problem again since reporting it. This was over a year ago and there have been three new versions of CCS since. Which CCS version are you using? Have you tried the workaround I described?

Yes I did tried work around method!. again and again I'm getting this issue. I'm using CCSv5.2

Why are you using such an old version? Try upgrading to 5.5 and see if that solves the problem.
