Handling ccs v4

hi all,

                I am trying to use ccs v4 for c6713 dsk, but once i created c/c++ project after, aafter building  while debugging , i am getting an error like target will not have valid set up. what it means ? what should i do 2 run it and download it into kit? also , how to create and BIOS file in this version. previously,i have handled ccs3.1, so its easy to find BIOS file. what about in this latest version?

please, help me it will be better if detail it from beginning...

    It sounds like you are new to CCSv4. If so, there is a great getting started guide here. It guides you step by step through the process of creating, building and debugging projects. The key step you may be missing is creating an appropriate target configuration file for your target, which the guide should be able to help you through.

    If you still have problems after going through this guide, then please post more details on the specific error you are seeing and we can try to help further.

    hi,

           i tried working with your guide for ccs v4. while creating an project itself, i am not getting step 5. i.e. ccs project settings. directly jumping to next section i.e. project settings. what is this error? while doing step-by-step, step 5 is automatically skipping.

    how to solve this error?
