New install of CCSv5, eclipse runs, no 430ware

Previously downloaded CCSv5 on my workstation and everything works fine: eclipse, and all of the TI online help for MSP430. Then I downloaded CCSv5 to my laptop, running an i5 and Win 7. Eclipse runs ok, but there isn't any of the TI online help for the MSP430 (the 430ware). Any idea why?

Hi Ted,

First thing to check is if the MSP430ware is installed on your laptop. It should be in <INSTALL DIR>\ccsv5\ccs_base\msp430\msp430ware_x_xx_xx_xx

If it is there, the CCS resource explorer (assuming you mean the content in the resource explorer) should be able to find the docs/examples for MSP430ware.

Also what version did you install on both your workstation and laptop?

I can find msp430ware_x_xx_xx_xx,but there still no MSP430ware in the resource explorer.What' wrong with it?
