Dear Community, I have very old Assembler Project under CCS1  for TMS320VC33.

Can I port this Project under Code Composer Studio 5.  Self Project file *.mak may transformed to Project file Code Composer Studio 5,

but Assembler? How can I bind TMS320VC33 Assembler with Code Composer Studio 5? Same Question C Compiler TMS320VC33 to bind with CCS5.

Where can I find matched Assembler and C Compiler? Please in Details if you can.

    Hi Alex,

    Unfortunately the VC33 has not been supported by a CCS release in a very very long time. In fact in was never (officially) supported by CCS. The last official support for it was in CC 4.x (without the 'S') about 15 years ago.

    I would stick with using your existing environment for continued VC33 support.

    Hi Ki, thanks a lot for you answer and support.

    Probably do you know some more Information about Development Tools for VC33 or some Links - ohter as TI? I found DSK (under tms320c33 search) on TI Page, - is CC 4.x better? I'll use yours Information search  on Monday about CC4.X. In my wish I would prefere go to another DSP - neu and has more support, but customer ..... is not ready for this. Then I must go ahead with VC33.

    Alex,

    You mentioned that you have a project from CCSv1. Do you have CCSv1 with VC33 support or did you inherit this project and are looking for the tools to build it?

    Dear Ki,

    you are right. Our Partner thought that is one CCSV.1 Project. But you ave right. Is one CC3.x CC4.x. I'm out of the office for par days, and has no time to analyze the Project more deeper. CC3.x  CC4.x is right tools, but its very old, and I thought that probably exists some new tools, probably not from TI. But with you Help and tip of CC3.x CC4.x i got very good help.
