CCSv5 Update hung

Hi,

I was trying to update CCSv5. It downloaded the updates and started an installer. The installer hung at about 30%, installing MSP430Ware. I had to kill it via the Windows 7 task manager.

I ran 'check for updates' again and no Updates were found.

    Hi Stephan,

    have you tried since?  I know we were experiencing some problems with updating the other day due to a server upgrade/change.  These should now have been resolved.  Was it the actual updating or the installation that caused an issue?  Did you apply any actual CCS updates?  Ie did you start with 5.2.1?  Did you need a specific update or version of a tool?

    Hi Lisa,

    I did not try again since yesterday. It started from 5.2 a few weeks ago, the main reason for updating was the C2K-Launchpad missing in ControlSuite.

    Hi Stephan,

    do you have device support?  Ie can you create a new project for the part?   Have you tried the 5.3 beta version which we just released?
