CCS5.1 Project Preferences (Colours and Fonts) Import/Export

I have a question regarding CCS5.1.1 ... In my first project folder, I customized the colours for my workbench views becouse I didn't like the DEFAULT colour scheme. Now I have created my second project folder and to my horror, CCS5 did not carry these customized colours from my first project folder over to the new one but went back to the DEFAULT scheme. So my question is how can I get the project colour preferences ONLY from the first project folder to the other without having to wade through each instance of colour settable variables again? Surely, there is one file that I can copy from one project folder to the other that will do this?

    Jim,

    The fonts, colours... are workspace preferences (i.e. set via Windows -> Preferences).  Are both of your projects in the same workspace?  If so they should be using the same preferences.  If they are in different workspaces then there is a way to export your preferences from one workspace and import them into another.

    Go to File -> Export

    then do an import in the other workspace.

    John,

    They are not the same Woekspace. So I followed your instructions above and PERFECT, the preferences are now the same in my second Workspace. Thanks for your help!
