Import projects on CodeComposerStudio v5, which have been build with CodeComposerEssentials v3.1

What is the issue you encounter when trying to import the project? What is the error message?

I'm not sure if importing CCEv3.1 projects is supported in CCSv5... though I do know that importing CCEv3.1 project into CCSv4 is supported, and since you can import CCSv4 projects into CCSv5, it would make sense to assume that CCEv3.1 projects should be able to be imported into v5. I'm guessing that perhaps it is complaining about different compiler version detected or something similar (again please describe the exact error message(s) you are seeing).

I don't get any error message. The old projects are locked, when I tried to open it with CCSv5.

In the given links I didn't find any information about the migration or import of projects to CCSv5, which have been written with the CCEv3.1.

Question:

Where I can find some information, how I can import projects, written with the CCEv3.1?

You should be able to use the 'Project -> Import Existing CCS Eclipse Project' option

I used it to import a CCE 3.2 project into CCSv5.2 and it worked fine. There must be some issue specific to your project. Would it be possible to provide the project or at least a small reproducible test case project?

Try directing CCS to the location of the CCE compiler:

can you confirm what device support you selected when installing ccsv5?  Are you able to create a new msp430 project in v5?  ie are you only having issues with the import?
