Can't obtain CCS

Hi all,

I hate for my first post to be about something as novice as this, but I cant seem to obtain a copy of CCS.

Using the link supplied by TI (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS), I receive a 403 Forbidden on any of the links when I attempt to browse to them. I've been logged in with my credentials when i've tried this as well.

If this is simply a server error/maintenance period - could someone let me know?

    James,

    It seems this was temporary. I am accessing this site from my home computer and did not get the http error 403...

    Can you retry and see if it works now?

    Thanks for the speedy response.

    Same deal as before. As an example I used this link (http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/CCSv4/CCS_4_2_4/) and I receive the following message:

    Forbidden

    You don't have permission to access /dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/CCSv4/CCS_4_2_4/ on this server.

    Hi all,

    Issue seems to stem from not using Internet Explorer.

    For whatever reason, loading the same page in Internet Explorer vs Firefox (which is what I use) using the same example link I posted above:

    Internet Explorer renders link as 'http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/forms/self_cert_export.html?prod_no=setup_CCS_MC_Core_4.2.4.00033.zip&ref_url=http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/CCSv4/CCS_4_2_4/'

    Firefox renders link as 'http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/CCSv4/CCS_4_2_4/'

    Hope this helps someone in the future...

    I have a similar problem attempting to update CCS4 and get the TMS470 updated to a level compatible with the LM4F parts.  Yesterday it seemed to update fine.

    Network connection problems encountered during search.

    Hi all,

    Posted a response before but got blocked (your post requires manual approval by an admin etc).

    Boils down to Firefox vs Internet Explorer.

    Firefox doesnt render the links correctly for some reason, use Internet Explorer.
