I just received my Stellaris LaunchPad-plugged it in and let the RGB led demo run. Next I downloaded CCS Studio and installed it. Looks like it created a folder with drivers. Next I checked the wiki and it says to install the drivers as described in spmu287 - a document which appears not to exist. At least the link leads nowhere and a search does not turn up any references. Device manager (Win7) does not show any devices that look like the launchpad. How do I install the drivers?
Hi James,
could you please provide a bit further information.
- what CCS version and OS are you using?
- what steps have you taken?
- have you looked at the launchpad wiki, have you downloaded Stellarisware and lab material for the board? (link also from this wiki)

Hi James,
just thought I would check for any updates to your enquiry.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Strange, I'm not seeing a problem with this link. I assume you get past the export control screening questions and to the page where you see the Click "Download" to proceed prompt along with the download button?
I am not referring to the download button for the SW-ICDI drivers, but the hyperlink to the SPMU287 further down the page in the Description section.
After doing a search on the TI site, I did find SPMU287A.pdf, which is probably where that broken link should go.
Hi Otto,
glad you found the document. Unfortunately the link has the version letter in it so any new version breaks a lot of links. If you need further assistance please just let us know. I have given the feedback a few times already about this, so hopefully there will be a time when revisions won't break links. Some docs get to i or j etc ...
Best Regards,
Lisa
