CCSv4 is not able to build the project

CCS4.2.4 is installed in ProgramFiles/Texas Intruments folder in windows 7 machine. I am trying to build the project but it shows the message as cannot build the resources.

Problems occurred building the selected resources.
Errors running builder "Generated Makefile Builder" on project pa_i14_evmda830.
Cannot create file because existing file of wrong type exists: T:\pa\f\s19\i14\evmda830\Release.

Also attaching the log file from C:\Users\a0271801\.TI-trace

Asheesh

  • Hi Asheesh,

would you be able to provide a bit further information.

    - have you tried folders with no spaces?  I see you use both the program files and texas instruments directories.   Do you see this problem with other projects or workspaces?

    - can you provide more details on what and how you are trying to build here?  Is this tied in to trace?

    - are you using junctions?  Where is the T drive located and is it always accessable?

    Best Regards,
    Lisa
