Hello !

I got a problem when compiled my assembly programme in ccs4.2 using concerto f28m35, in the cortex-m3 core.

cmp r4,#8

strgeb r5,[r0]

bge EndSHLBFun

[E0002]Condition codes not allowed outside of IT blocks in Thumb ( strgeb r5,[r0] )

Question: Does it have something to do with the mode of arm or thumb/thumb-2, or with the mode of UAL or non-UAL?

How to deal with this problem?

Cortex M3 uses Thumb 2 instructions and according to the documentation for that instruction set, conditional instructions, except for conditional branches, must be inside an If-then (IT) instruction block. I found this information in section 3.3.7 of this document on ARM's web site. So the error generated by the TI assembler is expected.

But,there was no this problem when i used else cortex-m3 card in keil.

Is there some configeration in ccs which can insert IT block Automatically？
