The odd behavior was that the code would load and run fine ... but could not pause it, or stop it. Code Composer displayed, "Trouble halting target CPU, could not terminate EEM Polling thread."
I'd appreciate hearing potential solutions to the problem. Re-booting the computer did not fix it. Re-starting Code Composer a number times did not fix it. It just magically started to work again ... after I wasted a couple of hours.
