Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335

I  am using ccs3.3 and xds510 c2000 emulator.

I would like to know whether we can flash .out file directly to TMS320F28335.

When trying it shows not supported  . PLease help.

    For CCSv3.3, support of the TMS320F28335 was introduced in Service Release 12.  Please make sure you have this Service Release installed.

    Otherwise, you can utilize the latest version of Code Composer Studio to obtain support for the TMS320F28335, which is CCSv5.

    In addition to Brandon's reply, please note that in CCS 3.3 the flash programmer plugin had to be invoked separately from the CCS menu and then the .out file programmed using the plugin. In CCSv4 and v5, the flash programmer will be automatically invoked behind the scenes when loading a .out file to Flash.
