I am unable to re-install CCSv5.2.
I did delete previous InstallJammer files before attempting this install.
Attached is the InstallJammer log file for the failed installation.
Please help - Thanks, Karl1513.ccs_setup_5.2.1.00018_install.log
Hi Karl,
ok, let us have a look at the logs. In the mean time do you have any non typical unzip utilities installed? Are you able to use a different temp directory? Have you tried redownloading? Have you unzippe the installer before running?
Best Regards,
Lisa
HI Karl,
it looks like it is hanging in the debug server installation. Do you get any errors or pop ups? Can you send the logs from c:\program files\installjammer registry\DebugServer?
It might be worth redownloading and reattempting.
Please keep us informed.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Thanks Lisa for your help
To extract the downloaded zip of ccsv5.2 I used the extract utility that comes with Window 7 and I extracted it before running the installer.
I tried to install again this time using the web install version and into a different directory "c:\TI2". During this install, I saw some errors scroll by but it did complete. The first error I noticed scroll by was when it was installing something like ...com.ti.dvt2.rta...
CCSv5.2 now works but the menus are not in the same order as another seat of ccsv5.2 we have and under the tools menu, some things are missing such as Graphing which I need.
I have attached my InstallJammer Registry folder.5710.InstallJammer Registry.zip

Hi Karl,
unfortunately installing over an exisiting version is not always the best. Can you try removing the installation completely and reinstalling into a fresh new directory? eg C:/myccs
Please keep us informed.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Everything is now working. The steps followed were:
Uninstalled ccsv5.2
Downloaded a fresh copy of the "CCS5.2.1.00018_win32" zip file
Extracted the zip file into a new directory "c:\temp"
Specified a new install directory "c:\myccs"
I thought I did these same steps before a couple times. Anyway, it's good to be up and running.
Thanks Lisa!
Hi Karl,
ok, very glad to hear and thanks for the update.
All the best with development.
Best Regards,
Lisa
