CCS 5 Flexera license daemon (vendor daemon) for Solaris 10 SPARC required

Dear All,

We already have a flexlm installation running on Solaris 10 SPARC distributing various licenses from various vendors for our department.

When I tried to install CCS 5 license and licensing binaries (not the application software) for our electronics engineers, the CD did not contain the required SOLARIS 10 SPARC vendor daemon binaries.

Where can I get the required TI-vendor-license daemon for Solaris 10 SPARC 32-bit?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Karl,

I do not believe we have support for our vendor daemon for SPARC systems, but I have passed this along to verify/double check for you.

Answer to my problem from above:

The name of the vendor daemon binary is tidspssw

The page where the command line setup for TI licensing is described is

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/License_Server_Administration_for_CCS#UNIX:_command_line_setup

The download of the required SPARC daemon is:

http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_registered_sw/sdo_ccstudio/CCSv4/tidspssw/sun_u8/tidspssw.tar.gz
