Closing CCStudi v3.3 needs windows restart

You can try checking if a dump file was generated and send it to us for analysis:

But note that CCSv3.3 is not supported on Windows 7, or any 64-bit OS. Our policy has been "use at your own risk" in regards to using CCSv3 on those platforms. And CCSv3.3 itself is no longer supported in general. If you wish to use CCS on windows 7-64, I strongly recommend using a newer version of CCS or running CCSv3.3 on a XP virtual machine.

Thanks for the info. as we have lot of projects developed under CCV3.3. so we are trying to find the solution.

dump file was not generated at this time,and the windows asks to restart only around 70% of the time when we try to close the code composer studio not all the times.

i don't understand what could be the connection, when we close the code composer says windows encounterd a critical problem.

You can try disabling ctools.dll in C:\CCStudio_v3.3\cc\bin. It has been the source of several stability issues in older CCS versions. Just rename it to disable it.
