Update from ccs2.0 to ccs 5.0

Hello,

I have ccs2.0 and want to update to ccs 5.0, do i have to buy it or i can update directly for free?

    Hi Hisham,

    if you have an active subscription you can go to

    www.ti.com/myregisteredsoftware

      and see how far you can upgrade.   However I suspect you will need to purchase a v5 license.    Your version is likely too old to upgrade that far.   You can see licensing options for v5 here - depending on the hardware you us you may be able to us a free license (eg if yo are an XDS100 user).  I also always recommend the latest version which is 5.2.
