Hello!

 

What version of the Code Composer Studio IDE supports simulator for the old TMS320F240 processor? (For C24xx cores at all) Maybe it should be installed additionally?

    it appears there may not be a simulator available for you, sorry to say.  Have a look at this useful wiki indicating available simulators.
