Multiple targets debugging in CCSv5.2.1

Dear support,

I want to debug two targets (TMS320C6657L and TMS320C6657L) simultaneously in CCS5.2.1: Both targets are connected via USB (XDS100v1) to PC.

I found the following forum and setting the target configuration illustrating. But I could not through the Test Connection.

Is there issue in my setting?

Thanks,

Bai

  • Hi Bai,

You need to save the target configuration file first. Once you save it (press the "Save" button), the "Test Connection" button will be enabled.

    Thanks

  • Hi ki,

    Thank you for your answer.

I am sorry for making mistake in the illustration.

I had saved the target configuration and tested the connection, but only the target which is on the above could past the test.

Is there other issues in my setting?

    thanks,

    Bai

Please explain more. What was the exact error message you received when testing the connection? Cut and paste the full error or provide a screenshot.

    Thanks

  • Dear support,

Thank you for all your answers. The problem has been solved.

Above settings is correct. The problem is that two of C6657 evm boards must be connected synchronously, because it is JTAG chain when debugging multiple targets.

After all, thanks for all your helps.
