CCS 5.2: path variable expends to nothing!

Hi,

I try to define a variable to use in my search path. But it always expends noting. See hight lighted yellow below.

${PDK_ROOT} is expended to nothing, not "C:\ti\pdk_C6657_1_1_1_4\packages\ti". Why?

Hi Steve,

what do you mean expands to nothing? In your screen capture I see nothing wrong with the path variable. Perhaps you are trying to use that as a build variable which is slightly different. See this wiki

Can you please provide more detail on exactly what you are trying/experiencing?

Hi Lisa,

I got another problem with CCS 5.2.

I can not step assembly instructions any more. Whenever I step an assembly instruction. I got an error in error log.

do you this with every project/workspace when trying to assembly step? Can you provide more details?

Can you please enable and send any error logs or dump files generated.

Lisa,

This CCS 5.2 generates so many errors. I can not disassemble, display memory, etc. etc. It is unusable now!

I created a new workspace and these problem went away. It looks like my old workspace is corrupted. How do I delete a workspace?

Hi Steve,

you can simply go to the folder on your system and delete it. Is this what you mean?

Hi Lisa,

Not really. After I delete .metadata from my hard drive, that workspace still shows in File->Switch Workspace. I want to delete it from there.
