Using XDS560V2STM through LAN

Hi,

I am trying to connect the XDS560V2STM emulator on my network but I am unable to detect its IP address as mentioned in Spectrum digital user guide. On polling the network as mentioned in the the guide I am not able to detect its IP address. Any suggestions on how to get its IP address on network and how to use it through CCSv5?

    Harshit,

    I just want to make sure we are looking at the same document: are you reading the procedure in section 6 of the <sd560v2config_Readme.pdf>? This document is accessible from the button Help of the Sd560v2Cnfg v5 utility.

    If you followed the instructions in section 6.3, pay special attention when you manually insert the emulator's MAC address, the IP range and the subnet mask (usually 255.255.255.0 or 255.255.254.0). When all else fails, usually manually inserting this information helps identify the emulator.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I tried the above mentioned setps. Still the emulator IP Address is not known to me. I am attaching the screen shot of the Gui. Also attached is the dtc_conf tab it also shows IP Address as none.
