CCSV5 not detecting XDS100+RS232 V1 Linux 1md64

Hello,

I am new to CCV5. I am using TMS320C200 Experimenter Kit to develop some application. DSP processor is F28335P . CCSV5 showing the following error.

This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.
The value is '-151' (0xffffff69).
The title is 'SC_ERR_FTDI_OPEN'.

But when am trying  with xds100serial . Its detecting the kit. Output of xds100serial is as follows

VID/PID    Type            Serial #    Description
0403/a6d0  XDS100v1/v2     TITMHMZ8    Texas Instruments XDS100+RS232 V1.

I am using Debian 6 amd64 version.

Can some one help me to fix this ?
