Loading Code to MSP430 On Lunix

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on my computer and when I tried to load code to my MSP430 via CCS (latest version) it failed.

Is there something special I need to do to load code in Ubuntu?

Hi Anthony,

do other targets/setups/projects work? Can you provide more details? What emulator are you using? Currently only the USB FET is supported in Linux. There is no current support for the launchpad or eZ tools. What error are you getting? What are you experiencing? What msp are you using? What exact CCS version?

Error is 'No USB FET Found.'

I am using a Launchpad.

unfortunately there is currently no launchpad support in Linux.
