    What version of CCS are you using?  In CCS we used to show TMS470 instead of ARM as that was the brand of our automotive ARM devices.  In newer CCS versions you will see ARM listed instead.  Below are the settings that I would use to create a BIOS project for AM3359.  These captures are done with CCSv5.3.0.  

    It is important to select a template under SYS/BIOS.  When you do that it tells the wizard that you are creating a BIOS project.

    I could not file a RTSC platform for the AM3359 ICE board so I selected the AM3359 EVM instead.  Someone in the BIOS forum might have one for the ICE board.
