Not able to see symbols even after " Load Symbols"

Hi,

I have a application ( u-boot). It has been built with debug symbols. ( has application.out and application file ( symbols file).

When i do a load symbols and point to application file, i do not see any symbols. Is it a ccs issue?

    Hi Faraday,

    can you please provide more information.  Normally if you do a full symbolic build a .out file is generated that will include symbols.  After loading the code a first time you should be able to do a Load Symbols only as you describe.  I say after loading the code a  first time as the symbols and code on the device should line up for things to make sense.

    What steps are you taking?  Have you done a full symbolic debug?  What are you experiencing that you write you "do not see any symbols"?
