c6000, dsk v2.21

hi, i have an old c6000 here in school, and i don`t have the driver were can i get it?

thanks

  • Hi Guillermo,

can you specificy the exact hardware/dsk and emulator you are using ?    Also the CCS version you use/have access to.  This will help us point you in the correct direction.  What makes you feel you are lacking a driver?

Many drivers do come packaged in CCS, however, there are a handful of expections of course.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • Hi Guillermo,

just wanted to check whether there was any updates with your enquiry.

  • Hi Liza,

I am having the same issue.  I am using CCS 2.20.18 and XDS510USB, but I am having issue to start CCS where the CCS can't initialize target CPU.

May I get the update for CCS 2.20 to 2.21 and also available patches?

    Thank you,

    Richard

  • Hi Richard,

a couple things.  FIrst, it is always better and more efficient to post new questions in a new thread.  This helps us to better help.

Having said that, is there a specific reason you want to use such an old depricated CCS version?  What target and exact emulator do you use?

    Best Regards,

    Lisa

  • CCS 2.20.18 used to work for me to connect to DM642, but for some unknown reason, I can no longer connect to my target.   The new driver provided by Spectrum Digital is for CCS 2.21.  That is why I would like to update my CCS.

My emulator is XDS510 USB from Spectrum Digital.  My target is DM642 (TMS320DM642AZDK7).

I've tried to use the CCS 5.2 version, but it gave me the same error. Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you,

    Richard

  • Hi Richard,

your device and emulator are supported in the latest ccs which is what I strongly recommend using (v5.3).

Please give that a try and keep us informed how the installation and connection go then.  We can go from there.

    Best Regards,
