Problem description:
I am working with a TMS320C6678 and tried to get it running on multicores together with OpenMP. As you can read in this post this is unfortunately not possible with the compiler 7.4.2, which I am currently using. The experts suggested to use compiler 7.4.0 instead. Now I am having troubles to install the compiler 7.4.0, I tried the following procedures.
Installation via CCS:
I tried the installation of the older compiler as described here. But as you can see in the print screen below the version 7.4.0 is not available. Why? Can you help me?
Manual Installation
Secondly, I tried to install the compiler manually according to this link:
https://www-a.ti.com/downloads/sds_support/TICodegenerationTools/download.htm
After registering I got a mail with the download link, that was fine. But when I opened the link the download did not start. I only got the following print screen:
I tried with reduced security settings, with IE, chrome, firefox but the download did not start. I checked the referenced help link (www.ti.com/software-help), but there is no solution listed for this problem. Furthermore I wrote a mail to dsps_sw_exportapproval@list.ti.com but I got no answer.
I would be very thankfull If anyone can help!
