I downloaded a free CCSv5.3 Windows version from TI web site (http://www.ti.com/tool/ccstudio: I click "Download" button from CCS-FREE). I want to try out the free version before I buy an official version. My PC is Windows 7 64-bit version. After I unzip the download file to a temporary folder (C:\user\username\Downloads\CCS5.3.0.00090_win32), I click the ccs_setup_5.3.0.00090.exe file to start installation. The installation gets 50% thru when I get "One or more features were not installed correctly. Please look at the log...." error. In the log file, I find the following error:
ERROR: com.ti.ccstudio.ccsinit.win32 state: feature downloaded - something went wrong with the install
I disable Windows and McAfee firewall on my PC. I also have admin right on my PC.
I tried at least 3 times to reinstall CCSv5.3 after I uninstall it from PC and delete everything under the "ti" folder and "Installjammer registry" folder, but I still got the same error every time. I do save all the log files in "Installjammer registry" folder after the installation is failed. If you need it, I can send it to you. Can you tell me how to send it?
Can you help me to resolve this issue?
