Hi, the installation wasn't finished. Attached the 60...log files. First i thought there are jre problems, so i installed it before the next try. Later i could found and start ccstudio.exe but didn't work. Even the update wasn't finished successfully.
(Dell Latitude E6510 2Gb RAM Windows7/32bit)

In the past i worked with CCSv4 for Launchpad and own MSP430G2553 design on another computer. Now i bought the AM335xICE and would like to create some EtherCAT slave applications. The ICE is working with the pre installed demo code as EtherCAT slave.

Hi Ulrich,

it seems like your issue is being caused by the unzip utility/program. Do you have full permissions? Did you unzip the install file before running the installer? Could you try the full installer for the latest version into a fresh directory?

Hi Lisa,

I repeated the unzipping to a folder C:\CCSv5 and run the setup as "admin" even I'm a admin user on my computer. Install and updating are running perfectly.

BTW: I'm sure question about the toolchain for writing EtherCAT slave application will follow ;-).
