Is there a different web installer for 64-bit Windows ? I'm using the same installer I used on my laptop (Windows 7 32-bit) except now I receive the message, "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running."

No.

What version of CCS are you trying to install? Provide the full version number.
Thanks

Hi
Same problem :
ccs_setup_5.3.0.00090.exe : "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running"
(Windows 7, 64-bit, Service Pack 1, with all Windows updates done. PC is HP EliteBook 8560p)
Can you help ?
Thanks !
That is surprising. I have Windows 7-64 bit SP1 and installed my current CCS version using the same ccs_setup_5.3.0.00090.exe file.
I'll need to hunt around for some more answers...
Hi Daniel,
have you tried the full installer? Have you tried redownloading in case of some type of slight corruption?
It would really help us to have the installation logs. These are in the installjammer registry directory which is a potentially hidden folder in program files/program files(x86).
I have also not seen this message on more than one Win 7 systems I have used with the windows installer.
Best Regards,
Lisa

Looks like we are having issues with our download server where our CCS images are located. Basically what you download from them are corrupted. This explains your error as others are running into the same problem. We hope to resolve this issue soon. Sorry for the pain

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your mail.
1) In "Folder Options", "View" tab, "Advanced settings", "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" is active
but I see no "installjammer registry" directory in "C:\Program Files (x86)"
It seems possible to me, because the installer just cannot even start
2) By "full installer" do you mean what the "Off-line Installer" ? It does *not* work :
CCS5.3.0.00090_win32.zip :
"Windows cannot open the folder.
"The compressed (zipped) Folder 'C:\...\CCS5.3.0.00090_win32.zip' is invalid
For info : CCS5.3.0.00090_win32.zip file length is 9450 bytes (quite short for a "full installer" ?)
3) CCS5.2.1.00018_win32.zip : same result
4) I am Administrator on the PC.
5) Maybe a stupid idea: could all these symptoms be caused by an Antivirus?
"Trend Micro™ Worry-Free™ Business Security Agent v7.0" is active and up to date
5) I will try tomorrow on another Windows7 64-bit PC at home and I will keep you informed
Thanks fior your help
Kind regards
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
yes we have seen issues with various antivirus programs so I recommend double checking that and waiting for the download problem to be resolved as well.
It is possible the logs didn't even get started.
Please just keep us informed.

Lisa
