Blank Dialog box appears..........

Hi Rounak,

do you only see this type of behaviour when changing project properties then?   Or do you see this in other situations?   This seems like it could be related to dependencies or else permissions ... ie trouble writing the file or else trouble generating the window.

- do you launch with the same permissions as installed?  ie installed as sudo and launch as sudo?

- does CCS function normally otherwise?

I don't really gone deeper, but for now this problem remains with properties window.

- I always run it using icons right click on it & then open as administrator.

Take a look on this snapshot.I started it using terminal with sudo. & added a include directory /home/rounak/. After it added well, as it is showing it there. I have also tested it & its working. You can see there is no error reported on terminal also.

- Sometimes CCS just crash & hang whole OS. then I need to reboot OS. I stored it in /opt/ti/ccsv5/.

it is very difficult for us to test every Linux/OS variety unfortunately.     I would recommend a couple things

-if you can capture the logs from a crash please send them

- double check you have all dependencies installed

- double check for triggers/what might make this reproduceable

I can understand how difficult it is to test every Linux/OS.

I will send a crash report.

this report means the /var/log/messages/syslog. or anything else??

yes, please go through that wiki and enable error logging.  Basically we are looking for error logs and crash dump (.dmp) files generated.
