CCS 5.2 Connect Target and Load Program Grayed

Hello,

I'm using CCS 5.2 Licensed version. When I try to debug one of my old projects or any example project in ControlSuite, built complete succesfull (without any error), communication led blinks on my eZdsp kit (for TMS320F28335) but run tab menu seems grayed and I couldn't change it. There is no error and warning about it.

I created and launched a new target configuration file but still same problem, also I check the gel file.

What could be the problem, could you please help me?

Mehmet,

Do you click the "green bug button" in the CCS Edit perspective to build and lauch your debug session? If so, are you halted at main in the CCS Debug perspective?
Is the "Debug" view open? If it is closed, some icons/buttons such as Run, Halt will be grayed out:

If that is not the issue, please provide more details about the steps you take and maybe screenshots to help explain your situation.

Hi Aartig,

Thank you for your help.

I didn't check that but all of the run menu grayed, except green bug button when I launched a target config. file, connect target, load, reset all of these menus are grayed.

I uninstalled CCS and all other components, then load new CCS 5.3 version, the problem seems solved now. (Loading same version couldn't solve the problem).
