Hi,
what OS are you running? The best would be if you could send us the install logs. These are found in the installjammer registry directory which is a potentially hidden folder in program files or program files(x86).
Some things you can check in between
- antivirus interference
- permissions
- please try to avoid directories with spaces
- redownload in case of corruption
- I would recommend the full installer and be sure to unzip first
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
Pl find the answers to the queries raised
1) what OS are you running? - Windows XP SP3
2) The best would be if you could send us the install logs. - Pl find enclosed the install logs
3) antivirus interference - I have norton anti virus and trust there is no interference
4) permissions - has full permissions
5) please try to avoid directories with spaces - Instal directory E:\Program Files\ccsv5
6) would recommend the full installer and be sure to unzip first - CCS V5.3 installed with full installer option.
Pl review and suggest.
Thx & rgds
HI,
there is not much that can be done. You really should use a local directory with no spaces. C:/ti is the best. You can try an external drive or other partition but all need to be local.
Please give that a try and let us know how it goes.
Best Regard,
Lisa
Lisa,
I created a folder under E drive without spaces and reinstalled CCSv5 as suggested by you in the directory E:\ti\ccsv5 . Pl find enclosed the install log file.
Request you to pl review and suggest next course of action.
thx
Hi,
I do not see a v5.3 installation log?
You can try the following
- as long at is not a mapped/virtual drive or junction download the full installer for ccsv5.3
- put that installer on the drive with space (eg e:\)
- unzip fully and install in e:/ti or e:/mycss or similar simple directory
Best Regards,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your support. This time around there are no issues. But the graphs does not update even with continuous refresh icon activated. This is hampering my progress.
Pl suggest. It needs some setting changes may be.

Hi,
in order to best help you, may I please ask two things
- please put this in a new post ... more efficient and then less likely to fall through the cracks attached to an old thread
- please post details on what you are attempting, and steps to reproduce
Thanks!
Lisa
