Hi Thiyagaragjan,
would you mind please providing a few further details. Some things that might help us
- what OS are you using and did you install CCS fresh or did you go to 5.3 through an update?
- does this happen every time?
- do yousee any error messages or does CCS appear to simply self close?
A couple things you can try. Can you try reinstalling the microsoft visual C 2005 redistributable package. You can also check for permissions or antivirus issues/interference.
Another thing would be if you could send any error logs or dump files that might have been generated.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi,
- am using windows xp, service pack 2, i installed fresh ccs v 5.3 for msp430.
- yes it happens every time.
- their is no any error message displaying , simply it closing (self close regularly)
i disabled the antivirus when i was working .
Hi Thiyagarajan,
would you be able to send us any error logs or dump files generated?
Have you been able to check about the microsoft redistributable 2005?
Best Regards,
Lisa
Would you also please send us your installation logs for double checking?
These are in the installjammer registry directory, which is a possibly hidden folder in program files or program files(x86).
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi,
i have checked this path (C:\Program Files\InstallJammer Registry). i dont know which log file you asking. so i attached all ccs related files for your reference.
Many Thanks,

Hi Thiyagarajan,
are you using junctions or a remote drive/server? I see references to C and D in your install logs and this could be the source of the problem.
Are you using English windows?
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi Thiyagarajan,
I think, as mentioned the issues is between the junction - two different drives you are using. Please try unzipping and installing locally ... ie all done in c:/ti
Best Regards,
Lisa
