Unable to install code composer

I am trying to install CCS 5.2.1 using the offline installer.  This has worked many times before, but I am now getting:

"Unable to access http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/CCSv5/CCS5.2.1.00018_win32.  Check your settings and try again"

What on Earth is going on and how do I get installation working?

    An hour later and it was working again.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Giles,

    would you be willing to try the latest version and install it into a fresh directory?  This is v5.3

    Does "it was working again" mean you have been able to install in the end?

    The best thing to help us debug would be if you could send your install logs which are in the installjammer registry directory.  This folder might be hidden and is under the program files or program files(x86).

    Some known issues to check are anitvirus and permissions settings/interference.  Also I would recommend avoiding the program files directory and unzip the installer before installing.  There were a few ti site issues yesterday but I am not sure whether these could have affected the installation.
