Excuse me, but what do you mean with junctions and server? Anyway I tried to install the 5.3 version at first, but the same error window is prompted. In the forums I read about some bug in the 5.3 version, so I tried to install the 5.2 version instead.
Hi Carlos,
I see in the logs a reference to //.... ie a path that looks like a server but also the path c:/. This could possibly be the issue.
Can you please try unzipping and installing locally .. ie to c:/ti.
Best Regards,
lisa
hello,
I am trying to install ccsv5.3 using offline and online ccs_setup_5.3.0.00090_win32.exe.
But it failed after installing eclipserepo.zip...done.
Note:I remove user profile of win7 which belongs to C partition to D partition.
How to install ccs_setup_5.3.0.00090_win32.exe to the this kind case?
Thank you very much
Hi Carlos and Weiwei,
both of you seem to be using junctions.
Carlos - please unzip and install all in c:/ti with no references to other drives or servers and let us know how that goes
Weiwei - you may have to create a temporary using, leave the user profile on C:/ and install for all users. You as well are using junctions and have moved your profile which are not supported. Also please keep us informed.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi Carlos,
unzip the installer. You should then see the install executable. You can then run that. Again, please do this all locally ... no mapped drives or servers etc.
Please keep us informed how it goes.
Best Regards,
Lisa
