CCS4: configuration of flash sectors is lost

Hello,

I am using CCS4 for F28069U development. I have noticed that whenever I import an exiting project to a new workspace, the flash sector configuration is lost.

more details: suppose I configure sectors A, B to be erased on connection to target. it works as long as I work in the same workspace. If I import this project to another workspace, this configuration is lost and as soon as I connect to target, all sectors are erased.

could some one help in correcting this?

    Hi Vishwanatha,

    unfortunately, as you have discovered, there are settings that are not saved across workspaces.   The best you can do is the following

    - use the same ccxml (target configuration file)

    - see what settings you may be able to preserve unde File->Export->General->Project PReferences.


    This may still not preserve everything.
