How to monitor edma3 transactions using system analyzer?

This is a rather basic question, so I would be really grateful if somebody from the TI support team could answer my questions.
It's not like I haven't searched for documentation, I just didn't find any.

    Sorry for the delayed response on this - it is a good topic.   For using UIA to monitor EDMA transactions, the basic idea is to trigger an interrupt when the EDMA transaction is complete, and to log a UIA event within the ISR handler for that interrupt.  I'll write up a UIA tutorial on it and will post here when updates are available online (I should be able to get a first cut at this posted in the next couple of days).  I'd like to follow that up with a second part that will show how to periodically log performance counters like the ones used to collect EMIF performance statistics. 

In addition to software instrumentation, Keystone architecture devices provide a number of CP_Tracer modules at various points in the device to provide hardware instrumentation for monitoring bus transactions.  Information on how to use CP_Tracer to monitor memory throughput is available at http://processors.wiki.ti.com/images/7/73/CP_Tracer.pdf and http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CP_Tracer_Details.  The upcoming CCSv5.4 release will include a lot of trace usability enhancements that will make it much easier to use CP_Tracer to e.g. monitor memory throughput and latency.  I'm planning on writing a tutorial on that after CCSv5.4 is generally available.
